How To Capture A Kraken

You go to a Pink Zebra Rally, of course! 😉

I know I’ve been mentioning PZ a lot, but it’s slowly becoming a bigger and bigger part of my life and the Rally just assured me I was going in the right direction! So much support is being given to we consultants this year, it’s amazing!! Including advertising by our company on our behalf and we’ll all be able to have our own apps by the end of this year. The training was top notch and timely for Facebook parties considering I have one open now and our gift of this octopus shade is just beautiful!! He’s a nice focal point of my living room decor at the moment and I affectionately refer to him as my “Kraken.”

I attended the Rally in Irvine, California but my guest attended the Rally in Fresno, joined PZ AND won a $199 joining kit for free, which meant with all her additional gifts, she’s starting her PZ business for free AND received training that day. She’s on fire and has made contacts with her local real estate agents and she’s only been a Zeeb for 3 days! THREE!

My team has now grown to 6. Now to get them all active and promote!! 🙂

Pink Zebra Rally…And Comfort Zones…

Last year, Pink Zebra held their California Rally in Bakersfield, but this year our awesome company is holding TWO in California: one in Fresno and another in Irvine on February 7th. February Rallies are our Spring catalog reveals and we get to see ALL of the products available first hand!! It’s absolutely awesome and I cannot wait to converse with other Zeebs outside of Facebook as well as be inspired by our main event coordinator.

I’m not going to lie, between all of my health issues in 2014 keeping my business alive was a challenge, but I still did it. I made sales from my hospital room and entered them on my cell phone. All that time sitting there watching reruns on HGTV also gave me a bunch of time to think and refocus my business goals. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that events in my area simply are not worth it 95% of the time. They’re poorly promoted and poorly attended, so I decided to overcome my fear and start booking more parties.

Public speaking in small groups scares the bajeebas out of me, but part of success is pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. My final quarter of 2014 equaled all the sales I made since the beginning. Yes, since I signed up with PZ in June of 2013! It was all because I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and started opening my mouth and asking people if they’d like to host parties. I’m not a pushy person at all, but people have started to book and for the first time ever I have a party booked in Spring that isn’t my own!!

You can succeed in Direct Sales if you’re willing to push yourself and cross those boundaries you may have never realized existed. Heck, you can succeed in life if you push yourself past those boundaries you’ve given yourself. Like that cute guy in Chemistry? Go talk to him. Want that job? Go speak with someone there rather than just apply on the computer (unless it says they don’t want you to contact them, then don’t piss them off…that would be bad, bad, bad). Want a raise? GO.ASK.FOR.IT.

Pink Zebra Party Favors & Center Pieces

I know I touch on Pink Zebra quite a bit, but I can’t help it! I just love it and feel that many others would too! If you’re not familiar with Pink Zebra, let me explain it really quick: We’re a new company in home fragrancing featuring our Sprinkles. Sprinkles are a blend of soy and food grade paraffin waxes that release less carcinogens and burn cleaner than traditional candles. The best part is that they’re much more versatile than our competitors. Use them in your cat’s litter box, in the bag of your vacuum, in a glass container where you stick your make up brushes, in sachets in your drawers to freshen clothes….really, the possibilities are as limited as your imagination, BUT today I’m talking about candle bars, wedding favors and centerpieces!

Candle bars all begin with our Glimmer Glass. Choose from any of the 5 “petite” Glimmer Kits we currently have in our catalog. Martinis are cute and have been the most popular with my customers! Then, select the Sprinkles you want for your guests. You can choose them for color, but ultimately you want them to smell good together because your guests will eventually light these candles. Have a theme you’re trying to fit? If you’re having a Luau Island Coconut might fit your theme, but mix it with Turquoise Waters and you have added “the beach.” The purpose of the candle bar is so that people can build their own favor, but if you’re not into that, you can opt to build the candle FOR them or make another type of favor with our Sprinkles.

ONE idea of a favor is to place our Sprinkles inside a sachet and leave it for guests at their place setting. Guests can either place the sprinkles in their warmer at home, Sprinkle them on top of a candle they already have at home, or they could even place it in a drawer at home to freshen their clothes. It’s entirely up to them what to do with them, but you’ve given them something they can use with almost anything. Much better than almonds. 😛

Last, but not least, our shades are designed for use over our Simmering Lights, BUT they can also be used as elegant centerpieces. Place them at the center of every table, use them to decorate up the gift or cake table, place one of our lights under them and use them as ambiance throughout the room…seriously, it’s entirely up to you and that’s the BEST part. Use PZ how you would want it to be used! That’s what makes it “Uniquely Yours.”
